More than 161 bags of groceries were distributed to our guests during the Pop Up Pantry in Spanish Harlem. On a chilly, rainy evening, our amazing volunteers organized food items, packed bags and distributed them – always with a smile – to residents in the neighborhood.
A woman to whom we gave a bag of groceries returned later in the evening and donated a dollar, thanking us for helping her with much needed food.
