Our latest Pop-Up Pantry, held on April 3 at St. George & St. Demetrios Church, was an inspiring success.
Together with the church and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, we gave out over 170 bags, each containing food for multiple meals, to our East Harlem neighbors in just 45 minutes.
We’re incredibly grateful to our volunteers and donors. Between our efforts and the Cathedral’s, we handed out over $7,400 in donated or purchased food items to be used for the holiday weekend and beyond.
